A 431-piece puzzle measuring 22 x 17 1/4 inches. “The Church at Auvers” is an oil painting created by Dutch post-impressionist artist Vincent Van Gogh in June, 1890, and is one of 80 paintings created by Van Gogh during the last two months of his life. The puzzle comes from the British Jigsaw Puzzle Library, with a cutter symbol of Ju59. The puzzle is cut in a non-interlocking random style and features some color-line cutting. It is complete and all original. The number 176 is written on the bottom of each piece. This large puzzle is in very good condition with light wear only- a beautiful Van Gogh scene. The puzzle comes in a sturdy library box of heavy cardboard, which is possibly its original container.
This puzzle is part of an extensive collection of vintage hand-cut puzzles formerly owned by Ann Bohner, known on eBay as “puzzled grannie.” The collection includes both push-fit and interlocking puzzles.
