This puzzle pictures a maid with two cows. It has 478 pieces and measures 19 1/2 x 13 1/2 inches. It is cut in a random style, with an interlocking edge and semi-linking inner pieces. The puzzle is complete and all original. A scratched area affects 3-4 pieces to the right of the maid’s head. A pill has left some pieces at the edge slightly discolored. There is a small amount of bubbling paper. As you can see by the picture, these imperfections take little away from the beauty of this puzzle.
The puzzle comes in a sturdy replacement box which describes a different puzzle on the lid. Its attached lid could use some taping. A photograph of the puzzle is enclosed.
This puzzle is part of an extensive collection of vintage hand-cut puzzles formerly owned by the late Ann Bohner, know on eBay as “puzzled grannie.” The collection includes both push-fit and interlocking puzzles.
