Description provided (if any) when acquired:

As a carpenter, I celebrate the beauty of wood by gluing veneer to both sides of a puzzle. This lets me explore many vertical options: free standing like this wood worm, hanging on a thread, skewered on a dowel, hexagonal wall and many more.

I start with an attractive pattern of veneer on a 7 1/4″ square of MDF. After cutting it into three wavy edge strips, I cut the joints on a miter saw. I cut everything else on my old Craftsman scroll saw as three separate panels. First I cut a short piece from each end of the center panel and glue the miter joints. Then I cut each panel into two pieces with a long continuous cut. I separate the two halves and cut them into individual pieces to make an interesting and hopefully misleading “flow”.
