Puzzles are comletely hand made and each puzzle piece is individually hand cut
I cut my jigsaw puzzles by hand from 3mm (1/8″ nominal) medium density fiberboard (MDF) panels.
This material is typically used as a wall covering in many homes. MDF is an engineered wood product made from natural wood fibers. Because MDF is made from waste wood it is eco-friendly.
The pictures are bonded to the wood panel and then each puzzle piece is hand cut using an electric scroll saw that is fitted with a very fine 0.008″ blade, NOT a laser or water jet cutter controlled by a computer. The puzzles are then assembled to insure that all pieces are present and of the highest quality. A final coat of matte finish lacquer is applied and the puzzles are disassembled and packaged.
WARNING! THESE PUZZLES ARE NOT SUITED FOR YOUNG CHILDREN DUE TO A POSSIBLE CHOKING HAZARD ON SMALL PIECES.
The puzzles are shipped disassembled and a handmade draw string storage/travel pouch is included along with a laminated 4″ x 6″ picture of the puzzle. Pouch pattern and material may be different than the pictures at the top of my page.
Although these are new puzzles, they may have minor blemishes due to hand crafting. These blemishes occur very rarely and should not detract from the many years of enjoyment these puzzles will provide. The drawstring pouch makes packing these puzzles convenient for vacation or business travel.
