121 pieces. Used the Flying Dutchman superior puzzle blades and a 5-ply birch board I picked up at Michael’s. Much tighter cuts! I also used a lighted magnifying glass and a foot pedal which made this much easier. I broke five blades in the course of making the puzzle. The photo is from a free calendar on low grade paper. Dry mounting even better this time. Sprayed with flat Krylon and am sending it to my Dad as a gift.
May 31, 2014: p.s. I learned about tension and wear on the blades through this and subsequent puzzles and have broken very few since!
