I forgot to count the pieces of this puzzle. I made it for John Stokes (Custom Puzzle Craft) from a picture I drew that he posted when he and his family flew a dragon kite in the summers on the Jersey Shore.
I gave this to John as a gift. He’s received it, but I don’t know if he’ll ever put it together. Maybe some day he’ll discover the theme of the dragon kite!
I was nervous about sending a puzzle to one of my fellow cutters. It’s kind of like having a chef over for dinner.

John assembled the puzzle….
Shay!!!!! I assembled your gift puzzle today and wow was I ever surprised and pleased! What a wonderful gift, and you captured the likeness of my sister Stephanie who was near the front of the kite. My older sister Anne was at the rear. Plus the figurals are great!
Thank you so much, you are a good artist in addition to being a puzzle maker. I’ll post a picture of your puzzle in my journal and later move it to the Part 1 of the Dragon Kite section. Regards, John
