Description provided (if any) when acquired:

If you love difficult push-fit puzzles, this is the one for you! The puzzle depicts two couples enjoying a picnic. It has 269 pieces and measures 8 3/4 x 9 1/4 inches- the pieces are very small. The puzzle is cut in a random style with such extensive color-line cutting that almost every piece is involved. The puzzle is complete, all original and in excellent condition. The tiny pieces and extensive color line-cutting make this puzzle extremely difficult. The current owner notes “Someone has kindly written on the bottom of the edge pieces to identify the four corners and the sides (T=top, R=right, etc.). I’m not sure I would have ever finished otherwise!”

The puzzle comes in a sturdy box for an indoor-outdoor thermometer. I can’t tell if it was the original box for the puzzle.

This puzzle is part of an extensive collection of vintage hand-cut puzzles formerly owned by the late Ann Bohner, known on eBay as “puzzled grannie.” The collection includes both push-fit and interlocking puzzles.
